Overview

There's no longer a need to visit the EagleCard Office and have your picture taken. The new EagleCard allows for you to submit your own photo. This article instructs you in the photo requirements and how to submit it.

How to Submit Your Photo

Photo Requirements

Take a photo using a cell phone, webcam, or another photo device.  The photo must meet the following criteria:

  • The photo must be at least 600 pixels by 600 pixels.  This is less than one Megapixel and any webcam, cell phone, or other digital photo devices should be able to meet this requirement.
  • Length of the face must be between ½ to ¾ the length of the image (crop the photo from just above the head approximately to the collarbone).  The face must be centered, pointed directly towards the camera, and not tilted.
  • Photo must be taken in front of a plain, neutral (white, cream, off-white), background without any textures, patterns, or markings.
  • Photo must be full color.  Image must not be altered in any way or use any filters.
  • Prescription eyeglasses with clear lenses should only be worn in the picture if you wear them on a daily basis and must not obscure the eyes.  Hat or head covering may only be worn if worn daily for religious purposes.  No other accessories that obscure any portion of the face or head should be worn.
  • Face should have a neutral expression or natural smile with eyes open.  Full face must be visible.  Face must be free of shadows.  Eyes must be clearly visible.
  • Photo must be taken within 6 months of submission.

Submitting Your Photo

  1. Connect to the eAccounts portal.

  2. Click on the Profile link to see the following page:

  3. Click the link Click to submit a new photo to enter the photo system.
  4. You will be asked to accept the terms and conditions of using the photo system. Accept.

  5. After accepting the terms and conditions, you will see the photo submission window.  The photo requirements are listed on the left (or top on smaller devices) and there is an area where you can submit your photo. Use it to upload your photo.

  6. Once you upload the photo, there will be a short processing time where the system may rotate, adjust, or crop your photo.

    If the timer expires and you still see the rotating loading box, you can refresh your browser to see the uploaded photo.

  7. Click Submit & Sign Out to complete the submission process.

  8. There will be a final page to let you know the process is complete.  You can close the browser at this time.

  9. Once your photo has been reviewed by the EagleCard staff, you will receive an email detailing the status.
    1. If your photo is rejected, the email should be similar to the following.  It will detail the criteria that your photo failed to meet, and include a link that you can use to go directly to the photo submission screen and upload a replacement photo.

    2. If your photo is approved you will receive the following message notifying you of the status.

  10. Once your photo has been approved, the EagleCard staff will process and print your new ID card.  The EagleCard office will then contact you to make arrangements for the delivery of your card and the return of your old EagleCard.
