Cannot connect to wireless and you need to generate a wireless key for Eagle Online.

This is a guide for faculty, staff, and students to use when accessing the campus WiFi, affectionately dubbed "EagleNet".

*Guest access can be obtained by connecting to TTU-Guest and registering.

Viewing Your EagleNet Access Key in TechExpress

  1. Go to

and login
  1. . Log in with your

  1. Tennessee Tech username and

  1. password.

2.Select Register Guest

3.Select either Student or Staff.  Which is displayed will be determined by the group membership of your account.

4.Enter in your information in the fields provided.  After the information has been entered, select Next.
Note: Phone Number required ONLY if a text (SMS) notification of your EagleNet PassKey is desired.  Only enter a phone number capable of receiving text (SMS) messages.

5. A PassKey will be generated.  Record the PassKey somewhere you can refer to it easily.  Select Send Notification to select a method to send your PassKey separately.
Note:  This PassKey is unique to your account.  Treat it as you would the password to your email account.

6. After selecting send notification, select the method you would like to have your PassKey sent by then select Send.

7.Congratulations!  You are now ready to connect to EagleNet at TTU. 
Simply use the PassKey that was provided in previous steps as the passphrase when connecting to EagleNet on campus.

    You'll want to bookmark TechExpress, as you'll use it for most everything while you're at Tennessee Tech.

  2. In your Information area (on the left), there's a section labeled "EagleNet WiFi Key". To see your EagleNet key, click Show Existing Key.

    Your access key is valid for the life of your account.

    However, should you need to reset it for some reason, simply click the Reset Key button. If you need help in resetting EagleNet on your device (also called "forgetting a network"), check out the article How to Forget a WiFi Network.

How to Connect to EagleNet

  1. On your device, connect to the WiFi network called "EagleNet".
  2. You will be prompted to enter a security key. This is where you enter the key you obtained from TechExpress (in the steps outlined above). Enter your key.
  3. Choose Connect.
